CULTIVAR - certified SH1A Shiraz clone on Richter 99 rootstock, planted in 2000.

These trellised vines are looked after and cared for by the owner himself focusing on canopy management, checking the correct and even development of the grapes.

The vineyard is IPW (INTEGRATION PRODUCTION OF WINE) CERTIFIED - Thereby adhering to environmentally friendly farming practices. Thus guaranteeing you a safe and top quality wine.

Location: District of Stellenbosch.

Situated on the south-easterly rocky hills, facing False Bay. The rows are planted from the southeast to the northwest, allowing for the gentle summer sea breeze to cool the grapes evenly on both sides.

Well known wineries from Constantia, Paarl and Robertson, cultivate additional vineyards in our prime Shiraz area to improve the quality of their wines. Every year we sell grapes to well respected winemakers with their own vineyards, to improve the quality of their wines. Winemakers from as far as Agulas and Greyton also purchase our grapes.
